Fino through its business correspondent model, offered revolutionary technology solutions to improve the operational efficiency of social benefit schemes such as the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme – MGNREGs and Social Security Pensions - SSP. These benefits were transferred through the electronic benefit transfer (EBT) scheme, which were part of the overall Financial Inclusion Plan (FIP), where to begin with, a bank account was required to provide a range of permissible banking services.

Enrolment

Fino offered its technology right from the enrolment of beneficiaries, issuance of biometric smart cards to the disbursement of wages. It also offered scheme-specific solutions to various stakeholders.

In addition to the above, Fino also used to extend its services to the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGs). This involved registering demand for work, recording work commencement orders, delivering printed orders to wage seekers, issuing receipts to wage seekers, calculating wages, recording attendance, and so forth.
