Product Manager - International Remittance

About this job

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage product profitability, maximize revenue from existing products and create revenues from new products.
  • Product health (strategies, documentation, processes, compliance, competitiveness, industry trends).
  • Manage Product Life Cycle, Continuous Market and Competitor Study.
  • Designing, analyzing & implementing customer acquisition, retention, and usage enhancement product strategy & product-mix, optimize product pricing.
  • Monitor and be aware of industry trends impacting the product line to identify opportunities to successfully differentiate the FINO product range and leverage the firm's investment capabilities. 
  • Roadmap (business cases, partner management, prioritization)
  • Develop product strategy and roadmaps based on anticipation of regulatory changes, analysis of competitive offerings, client needs and FINO business objectives.
  • Ensure product compliance / audit and regulatory adherence.
  • Continually reassess the operational risks inherent in the designing, implementation and formulation of the entire product life cycle
  • Prioritize and deliver product enhancements.
  • New consumer promotion scheme launches, and analyzing / evaluating proposals from vendors, business partners, associates.
  • Joint setting of annual sales targets for each product set / segment. Jointly accountable for the achievement of those targets.
  • Assist in the development of sales initiatives and sales collateral to improve product sales / market share.
  • Assist in the development of sales initiatives / collateral, advice & guidance, training to improve product sales / market share / profitability.
  • Pre-sales (client visits, field visits) and solution design.
  • Coordination with the marketing team for collaterals (brochures, fact sheets, presentations).
  • Formulating and implementing product related training collaterals (product handbook, provide content for courses, facilitating training, one-on-one).
  • Ensure customer / market messaging is clear and coherent; reflecting the initiative's objectives.
  • Build a knowledge base for each client’s business, organization and objectives.
  • Set and manage client expectations and develop lasting.
  • Manage relationships with client personnel that foster client ties and keep project stakeholders accurately and regularly informed
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • Conduct/participate in seminars for customers or potential customers in terms of market overview and product introductions.
  • MIS Tracking and analysis for Merchant Points.
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with the other verticals.
  • Assist in establishing & monitoring / refining of SLA's with other departments responsible for delivering the product proposition - e.g. Sales, Business Implementation, and Operations.
  • Ensure stakeholder requirements are captured accurately and completely.
  • Lead a team of high performance product managers responsible for Managed Products (Wrap Products, Separately Managed Accounts, and Unified Managed Accounts), and new product development initiatives.

Skills:

  • Good understanding of competitor offerings and market intelligence.
  • Deep background in executing programs across marketing, sales, strategy and legal/compliance with diverse teams.
  • In depth understanding of regulatory norms and requirements in the financial services domain.
